We are a consulting firm representing a large IT client. This position of User Study Research Assistant will be assisting our live user studies research project by working directly with participants who will open their home or office for use to collect the required data. You will be working in a team of two (2) going to your appointments each day. THIS IS NOT FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH, IT IS A LIVE USER STUDIES COLLECTION FOR THE TECHNOLOGY FIELD.
THE WORK WEEK SCHEDULES VARY AND YOU COULD BE ASSIGNED TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SHIFTS (YOU MUST BE OPEN TO WORK AT LEAST 2 FOR CONSIDERATION):
Morning - 6:30am to 3:30pm
Afternoon - 1:00pm to 10:00pm
Evening - 4:00pm to 12:00am
Work days will vary depending on collection requirements, BEING ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IS REQUIRED. Weekly shift schedules will be decided by the Site Lead, so you MUST be open to work 5 days of any order.
This position will be an salaried position that will extend to approximately end of May 2023 in duration (however, scope of work could change based on client needs). This is a temporary role that will not result in a full-time permanent position. However, dependent on the success of the project, there maybe opportunities for future employment.
Voxelmaps is looking to fill Customer Service Support positions with candidates that are detail-oriented in the Seattle (98109), WA area with a passion for technology, people, and supporting the development of AI training. You’ll be supporting a large study that will be developing new technology for consumer-based devices. No previous experience is required, all applicants are welcome to apply. Responsibilities:
Assists with the execution of user-testing including setup, breakdown, data review, intake/outtake of participants, recording/reporting of the participant experiences, and other research related activities.
Provide a great experience for participants in the study and guide them through prompts needed for data collection.
Maintain lab and equipment.
Support in participant recruitment for the demographic needs of the study.
Support all User Research staff in day-to-day tasks.
Research Assistant Profile:
Good interpersonal communication and relationship building. Must be able to make participants feel comfortable (both written and verbal).
Good organizational and analytical skills.
Be good at time management and work well in a fast pace study environment.
Adaptable and quick learner that enjoys tackling a large variety of problems.
Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills!
Must be 25 years old (this requirement is based on client's auto insurance restrictions to insure a driver)

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work with the Project Manager directly at the study site. Show up to work on time, be willing to lend a helping hand, and make participants feel welcomed and engaged.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Degree or equivalent. Be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Be service oriented and be willing to support your team.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to receive instructions from trainers. Ability to speak effectively with participants and team members. Bi-lingual applicants are highly encouraged to apply!

Job Type: Full-time, 30-40 hours, Seasonal Temporary Employee
Timeline: Tentatively looking to hire immediately, approximately to end of May 2023 in duration: scope of work could change based on client needs (dates are tentative and start/end date subject to change depending on data collection)

Experience:
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred).
Market Research: 1 year (Preferred).
Locations:
Seattle, WA area, or within reasonable daily driving distance (REQUIRED) (Specific location is 300 8th Ave N., Seattle ).
Relocation is not offered.
Must be able to commute to office daily.
