The Customer Account Analyst will form part of the Nestlé Coffee Partners Customer Management team supporting Costco Canada. This role owns the internal communication and building of data analytics to support the team’s needs while being responsible for the collaboration and analytical sales work to deliver on our key NCP annual business goals.

This position is accountable for capturing specific sales data on our business (what) with supportive insights (why) in the tracking of our business, coming with recommendations to the Customer Team with the data and fact-based information to support recommendations. This includes such areas as total BU forecasting, business planning, financial analysis and builds to track our business reporting.

The Customer Account Analyst is a hybrid role based out of our Seattle HQ. 100% Remote is not an option for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily/Weekly Reporting-Pulls reports and provide analytics and insights to distribute to key stakeholders.

  • Ad Hoc reporting/analysis as needed to assist with preparation for key internal (e.g. In Market Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, Account Financial Reviews, etc.) & external meetings (e.g. Joint Business Planning, Monthly Business Reviews, etc.).

  • Manage all inputs to Osprey for Costco Canada (East and West) for Department 13 and 33:

  • Volume forecast inputs tracking updates of POS.

  • Regular monitoring of forecast in Osprey vs. shipments with clear understanding of building blocks to flag any gaps with both internal team and customer team.

  • Manages trade inputs along with volume forecast in Osprey.

  • Works with pricing team and CAMs to identify and correct LNUC violations

  • Customer Forecast Review (CFR) Prep & Presentation: Work with CAMs, Analytics Manager and Director in build out of data and insights.

  • Lead the deduction clearing process with internal partners (Finance/Customer Facing Supply Chain/Deduction team) for both Costco US and Canada. Manage deductions and UADs and keep trade promotions current within Osprey (Costco Canada) to enable timely investment decisions.

  • Support CAM with Customer Plans - Maintain sales plan and offline planners to meet customer objectives while operating within company guidelines

  • Project Management - as needed (MBS, Costco International, and Coffee Council quarterly meetings).

  • Manage multiple competing priorities under demanding time constraints with a focus on driving results.

  • Strong collaboration with entire cross-functional team to deliver business results.

  • Collaborate with the director and CAMs on the teams planning process around identifying strategic opportunities, analyzing, and aligning with the team’s business plans (In market planning, account financial reviews, and team meetings)

Requirements:

  • 2+ years working with Sales forecast/ Trade funds management (TPM) systems preferred

  • 2+ years of experience working with data preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Excel and proficiency in report building from raw data.

  • Ability to convert database downloads to user friendly front end to support decision making.

  • Strong time management skills and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with cross functional teams (finance group would be ideal)

  • Experience working in analyst roles in traditional CPG companies preferred.

  • High school Diploma required; College BA/BS preferred.

  • Ability to analyze multiple levels of data from many resources to make productive recommendations

  • Able to mine data sources to create compelling category strategies

  • Experience in influencing decisions utilizing data driven insights.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Able to handle and manage confidential information when working internal and externally

  • Comfortable in a "consultation" role interfacing with the customer (procurement and merchandising)

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
