Description

We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role will focus on guiding business operations through analysis of cash flow, cost controls, and expenses. The Controller will also be tasked with managing property and project budgets, accounting, and banking relationships. This role plays a crucial part in our team, providing financial insights that drive our strategic planning and investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business operations

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and special analyses

• Manage property and project budgets

• Oversee cash balances in bank accounts

• Handle bank covenant and lender reporting

• Manage property accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

• Oversee construction accounting for work performed on investments

• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards and best practices

• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures

• Support the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems

• Facilitate disbursement and expenditures

• Respond to audit requests from outside auditors and/or governmental agencies

• Prepare billings and draw requests

• Manage and oversee network file storage.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 + performance bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis and Cost Control

• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements and Reports

• Experience in managing Property and Project Budgets

• Solid understanding of Cash Balance and Property Accounting

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting is required

• Familiarity with Internal Control mechanisms and Strategic Planning

• Skills in managing Disbursement and Expenditure

• Ability to manage Audits and Billing processes

• Knowledge of Network File System

• Proficiency in Financial Modelling

• Experience in making Investment Decisions and Investment Management
