Job Title: Contracts ManagerJob Description
A mid-size fintech firm in downtown Seattle is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator/Specialist for a 6-month contract. This hybrid role requires onsite presence from Tuesday to Thursday. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for developing, negotiating, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and maintaining organized records.
Responsibilities
Prepare contracts, including sales and purchase agreements.
Create, plan, and update contracts.
Negotiate contract terms with internal and external partners to increase profits, reduce risks, and finalize deals.
Ensure contracts comply with federal, state, and local laws.
Manage contracts by ensuring all parties fulfill their terms and addressing any breaches.
Maintain organized records of contracts in databases and files.
Explain terms and conditions to managers and stakeholders.
Interpret complex technical language for better understanding.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in legal document analysis and interpretation.
Experience with contract administration, including MSAs, NDAs, and CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad).
Ability to apply arithmetic concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions.
Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures.
Proficiency in common office applications.
Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and occupational, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in legal operations and fintech environments.
Familiarity with communication tools like Slack.
Work Environment
This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence from Tuesday to Thursday in a beautiful building on the 20th floor in downtown Seattle, offering views of West Seattle. Please note that parking can be expensive.
