What's the Opportunity?The Contracts Risk Manager serves as a resource and provides guidance in support of all contracts related activities as relates to contractual insurance including both insurance and non-insurance risk transfer requirements.Responsibilities:Primary contact for contract review and contract term negotiations for proper institutional risk management. Responsible for tracking of contract lifecycle and verification of associated contract paperwork; may coordinate company-wide conflict of interest checks; Reviews insurance requirements and documentation for subconsultants and provides/monitors certificates of insurance to clients based on contract terms. Assist with managing/maintaining firm's business insurance program.What Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have the following:Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or legal coursework preferred5+ relevant professional experience in the insurance, legal or contract/risk management field or equivalent combination of education and experienceMastery of contract analysis particularly with insurance and indemnification provisions for proper institutional risk management. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to adopt new technology and processes quickly.A/E or professional services contract experience and familiarity with Architect/Engineer industry.CPCU, CIC, ARM (or currently pursuing) preferredWhat Can You Expect?
