Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Seattle, Washington and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do Drive software advisory and implementation services to help bring world class Supply Chain network capabilities, operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities for Supply Chain network optimization. Provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Support creation of interface specifications and flows for the various components in the design. • 50 % Travel required nationally. • Telecommuting permitted. • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally
Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following: o Utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Life Sciences, Retail, and Telecom industries; o Researching and tracking user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, utilizing Atlassian Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and HP ALM Octane; o Developing functional specifications for custom development and interfacing with external systems utilizing Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Microsoft (MS) Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; o Working across all phases of the Agile lifecycle to design, develop, test and implement SAP S/4 HANA with Fiori, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools, IoT (Internet of Things), Procurement and Contract Lifecycle Management tools, and machine learning softwares for enterprise-level clients; o Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing; MS Project Plan and Smartsheet; o Utilizing Jira and HPE ALM to support System integration(SIT), functional unit, technical unit, A/B, and User Acceptance (UAT) testing to ensure successful design and implementation of solutions; o Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress utilizing MS Project Plan, Excel with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and Smartsheet; and o Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing MS PowerPoint, and Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, and R.
