The Opportunity with McKinstry

McKinstry is seeking a BIM Manager to lead technology implementations that enhance project processes. In this role, you'll coordinate activities, lead training sessions, and collaborate with Technology Partners to deliver successful projects. You'll provide high-quality support, gather client insights, and ensure smooth cross-functional operations. As a steward of McKinstry's technology solutions, you'll produce key documentation and create essential product deliverables. Experience working with IT, consultants, and vendors to maintain technology solutions is essential.

  • Lead technology implementation for process improvement.

  • Coordinate and document project activities like meetings and testing.

  • Conduct training sessions for user and department success.

  • Collaborate with Technology Partners to deliver projects, including specifications and testing.

  • Provide timely, high-quality product administrative support.

  • Gather and maintain client insights to drive innovation.

  • Enable cross-functional collaboration with departments and technology teams.

  • Uphold McKinstry's technology solutions and standards.

  • Produce detailed documentation like PRDs, test plans, and training materials.

  • Create product deliverables such as wireframes and prototypes.

  • Collaborate with IT, consultants, and vendors for solutions and integrations.

What you need to be successful at McKinstry:

  • 7+ years in architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services.

  • 3+ years in a construction technology role.

  • 1+ year of people management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; advanced Excel and SharePoint skills required.

  • Knowledge of Autodesk tools and construction software like Stratus, Bluebeam preferred.

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Experience in a matrixed environment preferred.

  • Willingness to travel; ability to walk job sites.

  • Personal transportation required; reimbursed.

  • Strong project and product management skills.

  • Excellent written, oral, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and identify trends in specific business domains.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.

  • Interest in technology solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.

The pay range for this position is $93,600 - $163,400 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
