Insight Global Construction Manufacturing Scheduler in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

As a Construction Scheduler, you will develop and manage baseline schedules using CPM best practices, including detailed WBS. You will communicate clearly and concisely with management through regular briefings and conduct weekly meetings to update the construction schedule via shop walks and superintendent updates. Utilizing MS Project, you will efficiently update schedules, create clear and understandable reports, analyze critical paths to specific activities, identify variances from previous baselines, and filter work by trades, time frames, or areas to generate custom reports. Additionally, you will manage and complete mid-month and end-of-month deliverables, including Critical Path, Full Schedule, 6-week look ahead, and Schedule narrative. You will also perform quick analyses on production impacts due to changes in customer demand.

Skills and Requirements

Candidate will preferably have 5 + years of commercial construction management and/or commercial construction scheduling experience.

 Candidate should be familiar enough with the Construction process to be able to identify and discuss upcoming potential issues and suggest mitigations.

 Can work with minimal supervision while having outstanding communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skills.

 Coordinate the development and ongoing management of all aspects of the schedule with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors. Ability to work in a large collaborative team environment and to mentor, train, and assist in the professional development of one or more project engineers as required null
