The Opportunity with McKinstry We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to spearhead the replacement of our existing construction management and project operations solutions as part of a phased ERP overhaul. This critical role entailsworking with our Construction, Energy, Technology Services, and other operational teamsgathering requirements, mapping current state process, navigating the RFP process, and managing the project from start to operationalization / stabilization. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with our Change Manager and collaborate with program managers, McKinstry partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution. Responsibilities include team formation,project plan development and execution, including scope definition, requirements,RFP facilitation, system integration, testing, cutover planning, and end-user preparation. Strong leadership, relationship management, change management, and decision-making skills are essential for overseeing the project's successful completion and alignment with organizational goals. Essential Job Functions: Relationship Management:Foster strong relationships with leaders, peers, project teams, stakeholders, and employees to keep them informed of project status and support interactions. Team Leadership:Support project team members, facilitate collaboration across departments, and ensure access to necessary resources. Project Plan Management:Oversee the project plan and address any schedule delays promptly. Requirements Definition:Collaborate with key stakeholders to document, design, implement, test, and establish support models for all project needs. Status Reporting:Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, budget, and readiness for launch. Decision, Issue, Risk Management:Drive efficient decision-making, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and escalate as necessary. Change Management:Ensure end-users are ready for transition through effective communication, training, and readiness assessments. Communication:Establish open communication channels and facilitate collaboration between leadership and project teams. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Required: This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, project based role, anticipated to last 2-3 years. Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing complex technical implementations across multiple entities and states. Experience with construction software and industry. Experience leading projects across teams and departments. Track record of success in executing projects within large, complex organizations. Ability to manage through ambiguity and deliver outcomes. Experience leading a workstream within a larger program. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Technology, Construction or a related field. Preferred: Strong understanding of construction project management solutions including project accounting and other operations.
