Here’s where you come in:

We are currently seeking an amazing Communications Manager to join our team as a member of our growing Brand Services and Communications division. This person will use communications expertise to create and execute an integrated communications strategy that promotes and builds awareness of McKinstry's brand, enhances its reputation, and improves the candidate and customer experience.

You’re great at:

  • Driving strategic communications to reflect the business’ mission and vision and increase customer and candidate engagement in alignment with business priorities and objectives.

  • Using storytelling to create exciting and innovative communications that reflect McKinstry's brand.

  • Identifying and executing the best mix of communication channels to disseminate key messages.

  • Planning and managing robust content calendars, mapping to strategic priorities.

  • Developing KPIs to measure and continuously improve the impact of the communication strategy.

Public Relations

  • Developing and implement the company's annual public relations plan in alignment with the corporate thought leadership platform.

  • Managing relationships with public relations agencies, media, and other vendors.

  • Providing strategic direction for branded events (tradeshows, client, media, etc.)

  • Driving key speaking engagements and provide strategic messaging and visual direction.

Social Media

  • Working closely with marketing and recruiting teams to develop social media campaigns that achieve stated goals.

  • Regularly reporting out on audience/engagement metrics and track campaign performance.

  • Analyzing the long-term needs of the company and recommend platforms and or strategies that keep pace with changing needs of the business.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent work experience required.

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or PR required.

  • Excellent ability to create effective communication strategies that connect to business outcomes.

  • Strong influencing skills; confident and poised presence in interacting with senior leaders

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, measuring, and evaluating communication effectiveness.

  • Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects and resources.

  • Proven examples of building/editing web, social, and blog properties that use creative solutions to reach audiences that are geographically distributed.
