EO/AA Employer including Vets and DisabledQualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with legal requirements.Job Description SummaryAs Commercial Loan Operations Servicing Manager you will manage the servicing and a team of Loan Servicing Specialists to support business lending units within the bank; Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Loans and Residential Construction.Lead and implement operational best practices for accurate and optimal servicing of commercial loans. Operate as the point of contact for other Business Units and ensure proper controls and reviews are in place to maintain accurate and compliant servicing. This position will have knowledge of 3 servicing systems but will act as the primary subject matter expert for IBS, our Commercial Loan Servicing System. As part of that core competency this position will be the subject matter expert in SBA loan servicing.This position will work closely with the Commercial Loan Control Manager, and the Commercial Quality Assurance Manager, and their staff to ensure staff from all 3 groups are assisting as needed in all departments. Assist in cross training staff from all 3 groups to ensure back-up and coverage as needed. As the Commercial Loan Operations group is a small group management and staff will at times share duties across business lines as needed.The Commercial Loan Operations Servicing Manager is expected to use their discretion and exercise sound judgement in managing the day-to-day operations of the servicing group including resolution of customer complaints.Job DetailsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:In coordination with Loan Control Manager and Quality Assurance Manager, provide Oversight for the Loan Servicing Area including:Responsible for servicing all loans post-closing in accordance with the loan documents, the transactional documents, each applicable Investor's requirements, established policies and procedures, generally accepted servicing standards. Support servicing operations by providing expertise in interpretation of multifaceted loan agreements and intricate clauses to service complex loans in a timely and risk averse manner. Must use own judgement and industry knowledge to adhere to generally accepted servicing standards, investor requirements and GAAP accounting rules.Oversight and quality control of Loan Servicing duties; payment processing, reserve and escrow disbursement, check/wire approval, posting interest on reserves, transaction batch reviews, billing statement generation, and tracking pledged loansManagement of interest rate adjustments and daily rate updatesCreates, maintains and generates periodic tickler reports from the systems required by Commercial Loan Operations, including, but not limited to, loan maturity dates, delinquent payments, UCC continuations and insurance expirations.Oversees the servicing of SBA loans including supporting the sales process, the preparation and submission of the SBA 1502 report, managing error reports, and supporting resolution of troubled SBA loans and liquidations.Manages customer service calls and requests for loan information (both internal and external) including verification of mortgages and compliance with Loans to One Borrower limits. Independently resolves any customer issues utilizing sound judgement and their industry experience, while informing senior management of the situation and resolution.Assist with generating and providing to Borrowers yearly escrow analyses and annual loan history reports.Manages escrow and reserve functions including posting transactions, completion repair, escrow holdbacks and disbursements.Responsible for compliance with all Participation Agreements, Servicing Agreements and Servicing Manuals.Participate in the hiring, training, and supervising all Loan Servicing personnel.Builds and maintains a high-perfo
