Description Coding Quality Auditor - Swedish First Hill 1124 Columbia-Seattle(HR) SCHEDULE: 1 FTE, Flexible Schedule Monday to Friday Responsible for monitory and overseeing the coding integrity program. Assesses, develops resources/materials, and conducts training to assure accurate coding of HIM coded medical records. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required qualifications: Upon hire: National Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association Or Upon hire: National Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association Or Upon hire: National Certified Inpatient Coder Or Upon hire: National Certified Professional Coder Or Upon hire: National Certified Coding Specialist - American Health Information Management Association Or Upon hire: National Certified Coding Specialist - Physician - American Health Information Management Association 5 years Performing hospital based inpatient and outpatient coding required, utilizing the most current versions of International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedure Terminology (CPT). Experience training and/or teaching in acute care hospital setting. Experience implementing and improving upon a new program. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience Or equivalent from a two-year college and five years hospital setting experience, with credential. Will consider applicants with relevant experience and applicable education. Working with management of the Quality Department, Clinical Documentation Improvement Programs, and other key stakeholders.
