About this team/role:

A core pillar of our client’s technology Strategy is to provide strong and scalable foundations. Leveraging cloud, we create and manage platforms servicing our internal stakeholders with a customer-first mindset. We enable and empower teams to become self-sufficient, while providing guardrails to protect the organization. Our team embraces modern cloud infrastructure on multiple cloud platforms. This role will focus on our AWS cloud foundation, engineering solutions that streamline access and use of cloud resources, while keeping the organization protected from security threats and performance failures.

Enterprise-level experience for AWS Engineer - at least 50+ AWS accounts and experience managing accounts at scale. Are expecting them to be fluent with at least 1 language (Python or Golang). Although position is support, we are expecting support plus engineering. L2 L3 level plus automation, write code in Python or Golang, working with pipelines, VPC, control tower, etc.

A lot of internal tools for them to support (updates, patching, etc.) and to do this needs python/CICD and also helps if they're motivated to do automations and when seeing patterns in operations tickets can suggest to be done in a different way.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

For cloud engineer, 10-20% time would be supporting engineers across org, 50-60% working with internal applications and working on hands on with all CICD pipelines etc. to create efficiencies.
