JOB DESCRIPTION Job Number: 210311 Department: Orthopedics - Outpatient Hours: 7:30-5:30Virginia Mason is seeking aClient Services Representative- Registeredin our ambulatory clinic. TheMedical Assistant - Registered is responsible forassisting the medical and nursing staff by performing clerical and clinical support tasks as directed. Responsibilities include, coordinating schedules for patients and providers, and other clinical tasks that support our providers in patient care. Additional responsibilities include patient flow, rooming and taking medical histories.Our Medical Assistant -Registered contribute to the strength of our Team Medicine approach to collaborative medicine and benefit from the changes enacted through our Virginia Mason Production System, a model that has transformed health care by providing patients with easier access to care, reducing errors, and continuously innovating patient safety and quality that has been adopted by other organizations here and abroad. Join us, and find out how many ways Virginia Mason offers customer service professionals the chance to focus on what really matters - our patients.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED6 months experience in a medical office/clinic or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program.Ability to obtain Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason.Knowledge of medical terminologyProfessional demeanor with a positive, upbeat attitude, strong communication skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal communications.Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
