One Workplace Client Services Coordinator in Seattle, Washington

This Client Services Coordinator role supports Workspace Consultants (Sales) throughout the full lifecycle of our workspace design projects. This is a detail-oriented position which tracks orders, delivery, punchlists, and invoicing for multiple projects for various clients across the Pacific Northwest. Our Project Coordinators are the communication hub for our Client Services Team, Operations and Field Teams, suppliers, and vendors.

As support for such a fast-paced team developing new client relationships, we need a Coordinator with experience in the furniture/workspace industry to jump into this role.

Location: Georgetown, South Seattle (Currently working remotely)


  • Submit, track, and manage sales quotes and orders

  • Track orders, deliveries, punchlists, and invoices for on-going and completed projects

  • Communicate project status with vendors, suppliers, clients, and internal team

  • Quickly find answers to vendor, client, and team questions on products, pricing, and timelines

  • Proof and process vendor acknowledgements and invoice discrepancies

  • Provide customer-focused support for call-in inquires


  • 1+ years’ project coordination experience in a related industry (systems furniture, workspace design, etc)

  • Effective written, verbal, and visual communication to ensure client vision is met

  • Excellent time management, organization, and project management skills

  • Deadline-driven, self-motivated work ethic

  • Proven track record of being able to work with clients and vendors in a consultative relationship

  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment as project requirements and priorities change

  • Work well within the Coordination team to share the workload

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and confidence in learning new technology


  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Previous experience with Steelcase proprietary software including Hedberg

  • Technical understanding of design and order management programs
