Requirements

Clean Building Program Manager: This is where you come in.

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead our Clean Buildings compliance initiative for the state of Washington and to support Oregon with future development plans. You will help our customers and prospect customers develop and then implement the Energy Management Plan (EMP) and associated Operations and Maintenance Program (O&M) for each building as outlined in Sections 5 and 6 of ASHRAE Standard 100-2018 and WAC 194-50. While doing this, you will also be a support role in developing a Capital Improvement plan that support current or prospective customers in meeting the required Energy Use Intensity (EUI) per WAC 194-50. You will be tasked with implementing this program to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. Top deliverables within the first year to be a hero:

  • Partnership – Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

  • Knowledge – Understand, keep up to date, and be able to educate partners on Seattle Clean Building initiatives and policy, and write program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.

  • Program Management - Developing a budget and operating plan and evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Marketing and sales – promote and sell the Company’s capabilities and benefits of being a full-service mechanical contractor

The Clean Building Program Manager will report to Grant Gummow – Director of Business Integration, on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

  • Understanding of basic functions of HVAC mechanical systems and associated systems related to building performance, building controls, test and balance, etc.

  • Ability to organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • College degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience

  • At least 5 years of prior experience in selling services (for example, maintenance work) rather than products is preferred
