Amazon Change Manager, Escalation Management & Prevention in Seattle, Washington

The Selling Partner Support team designs and implements policies, tools and technology innovations to protect customers. Our team is looking for a Manager, Change Management that is business-minded, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented. This position will report to the worldwide EMP leader of Strategy, Planning, and Learning. It is a highly influential role that will serve as a role model for EMP's mission, values, and cultural norms. They will work with many business leaders across EMP and SPS to develop an overarching change framework and process that the organization can adopt globally to assist with all future change initiatives. They will have a positive attitude that helps them thrive in an intellectually curious, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

This position is right for you if you're able to work across all parts of the organization when changes are needed, to help ensure a successful process. This job is open to candidates who can work in the Seattle or Dallas offices.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to translate business needs into change and organizational implications, and drive change throughout the organization

  • Provide reporting and other updates to management and project teams

  • Design and develop change management and deployment strategies that will guide efforts and provide a foundational change approach in support of the strategic program

  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns

  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner

  • Determine the approach and tools and lead the identification and current-to-future state gap analysis of people, process, and/or technology change impacts; use the results to inform change management, communication and training plans

  • Develop a communication plan and dissipate communications around the program

  • Collaborate with training teams to develop and execute training plans

  • Support learning and adoption of new systems, processes, changes, and etc

  • Support the knowledge transfer process and develop knowledge management capabilities

  • Define success metrics and track performance against metrics during and post-implementation to ensure changes are long-lived and sustainable

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

  • Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
