JLM Strategic Talent Partners Certified Payroll Administrator in Seattle, Washington

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a detailed Certified Payroll Administrator. The position requires an individual who can prioritize work effectively, adapt to the different working styles of the other members, organize work product and other materials for easy access, and anticipate, communicate, problem solve, and plan for inevitable changes in his/her assignments, workload and deadlines.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and recording weekly certified payroll reports from the home office for employees and from subcontractors working on construction projects

  • Reviewing and approving subcontractor documents including certified payroll, apprentice records, monthly employment utilization reports and union benefit reports

  • Responsible for onboarding new subcontractors and ensuring they understand the steps to complete their certified payroll submittals

  • Running monthly reports and submitting to management for tracking of labor hours on the project

  • Processing new hire package for direct hires for all craft/union personnel that are hired on the project

  • Uploading the package to home office and ensuring forms are filled out correctly

  • Notifying management when a subcontractor is significantly behind in reporting

  • Upload certified payroll and track that subcontractors that have also met the state requirement

Requirements

  • Payroll/Certified Payroll experience is required

  • LCP Tracker software knowledge

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Strong communication skills
