Seattle Children’s Hospital Catering Support - $1,000 Sign On in Seattle, Washington

ResponsibilitiesIn addition to assembling and delivering catering events, the catering support staff will assist the catering culinary team in basic food service work: firing of cookies, cutting their own lemons for water service, making coffee, etc.Though they will not be the first choice in off-site deliveries, they will need to have a clean (ish) driving record to use the fleet vehicles to take orders offsite, if needed.If there is a low volume of catering, the catering support staff will also assist with other teams within the department: Sanitation, Culinary, Assembly / Delivery.#LI-NC1RequirementsSchedule: Monday - Friday; 5:30a - 2:00p; with the premise that it will be flexible to cover catering needs. Sign On eligible and great benefits!!Required Education/Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent experience - Four years of food service or cusomter service experience OR completion of 4 year undergraduate dietetics degree program Required Credentials: - Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit obtained within 1 month of employment. Preferred: - College-level coursework - Cross-functional worker across multiple roles - Experience in catering, healthcare food service - Demonstrated participation in Continuous Process Improvement activities - Proven excellence in customer service skills with patients, families and staffAbout UsHope.
