CASE MANAGER / SOCIAL WORKERDescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our great team.The Case Manager/Social Worker's primary role is to find, stabilize and place people who are homeless/at risk for homelessness, low income and/or have disabilities into regular part or full time jobs as well as coordinate with other services to reduce barriers to employment.Primary Job Functions:Job development and job placement for individuals who are homeless, low income and/or have disabilities.Retention services to help employee reduce barriers to retention and navigate their industry of choice.Maintain relationships with housing, community, college, public and industry partners.Develop a written Employment Plan with the individual client and their stakeholder team which identify specific employment outcomes, job development strategies, employment support activities, and other relevant job planning information.Assist individuals in resume writing, job search and interviewing techniques as needed.Maintain case notes and progress reporting in the DSHS eJAS and the HMIS and SetWorks systems in compliance with funder and organization requirements.Participate in all team meetings and planning sessions.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsValid and current WA state driver’s licenseProof of automobile insuranceProof of reliable transportationCurrent First Aid/CPR certification preferred and/or ability to pass certification within 30 days of hire.Compliance/completion of form I-9, Immigration and Naturalization Services as required by lawTwo-three (2-3) years of working with homeless population or job placement experience preferredComputer literacy and college level writing skills preferredKnowledge of barriers faced by those experiencing homelessnessKnowledge of job development, job analysis recruitment practices preferredIndependent and willing to work at a variety of job sites and follow a flexible work scheduleCandidates must pass a WA State criminal history background check prior to employment.BenefitsMedical, Dental Vision, Life, Short Term Disability Insurances3% 401k Employer Match15 Sick Days/Year10 Paid Holidays10 Vacations Days/YearTuition reimbursement programProfessional development planCare's Core ValuesWe find a way, period!Constantly pursuing excellenceAccepting all; celebrating youCommitted to YOUVocal champions for your successPractical yet flexiblePay: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus paySigning bonusCOVID-19 Considerations:Cares of Washington is providing all employees with ongoing safety training and PPE's necessary to perform their jobs.
