Customer Services Representatives (CSR):

Virginia Mason is seeking a Customer Services Representative in our ambulatory clinic. The Customer Service Representative facilitates and coordinates the daily activities of the section to ensure that each patient feels respected, welcome and comfortable. As a Customer Services Representative you will providers in administering health care through telephone answering, appointment scheduling, rooming patients, managing and communicating test results and patient concerns in an efficient and timely manner.

Patient Access Specialist I – Bothell and Downtown Seattle

Virginia Mason is seeking a Patient Appointment and Scheduling Specialist in our Call Center. As a Patient Appointment and Scheduling Specialist you will represent Virginia Mason during initial phone contact by providing patients with appointments, information and other operation support services. The Patient Appointment and Scheduling Specialist also provides a high level of customer service in a manner consistent with Virginia Mason's mission, goals and service standards.

Switchboard Operator:

Virginia Mason is seeking a Switchboard Operator with proven customer service, communication, verbal and written skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail is required. Must have the ability to learn quickly, problem solve, work efficiently and multi-task in a fast paced, high pressured environment. Proven computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products and demonstrated basic telephone skills (transfer, conference, placing a patient on hold). A working knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred. A knowledge of scheduling parameters, insurance concepts, and patient registration software and knowledge of VMMC system and providers is also preferred in order to efficiently schedule appointments and answer questions.

Medical Insurance Biller:

Virginia Mason is seeking a Medical Insurance Biller requiring demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, billing/collection practices and workflows; basic familiarity with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9), Tenth Edition codes ; ability to maintain current knowledge of specific payer billing requirements; excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are required.

Supply Technician:

Virginia Mason is seeking a Supply Technician requiring the ability to read and understand labels and follow written instructions, ability to follow standard work, strong organizational and time management skills, professionalism, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under stress and within time limits. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.

Patient Account Specialist – Downtown Seattle

Virginia Mason is seeking a Patient Account Specialist requiring proven excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail; ability to problem solve and multi-task; keep confidences; knowledge of insurance concepts; ability to meet and exceed service components of this position; demonstrated basic telephone skills (transfer, conference, placing a patient on hold); excel in a team based environment with a positive attitude; comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to be flexible. Six months previous call center, health care experience and medical terminology is preferred for this position.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Virginia Mason is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant requiring Certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C) or an LPN, and as a Virginia Mason Health Care Assistant - Level A, required.

Good oral and written communication skills required. Basic skills in using a PC required. Demonstrated experience as a nursing assistant required. Must be able to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics. The ability to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs. is also required. EKG Tech skills are preferred.
