Overview:
This role involves working on an automation project that deploys equipment across a network in North America. The responsibilities include adding new equipment, data, power, and air piping jobs. The candidate will work with air piping contractors (APCs) and compressor vendors (CVs) to manage these jobs at scale across multiple sites within a short period. Execution is key. Internal project management teams will monitor onsite work, while this role will primarily be based in Bellevue to work with APCs. The candidate will review codes, collaborate with engineering teams, ensure solutions for deployment, and manage execution aspects such as permits and requirements.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and business partners to support project execution.
• Review supplier designs and proposals to ensure scope, pricing, and schedules align with business needs.
• Support consistent work package sourcing processes in line with sourcing policies.
• Facilitate suppliers’ understanding of global policies, equipment design standards, budget and cost targets, service, and quality expectations.
• Drive suppliers’ continuous improvement and value engineering to support performance metrics: quality, delivery, capacity, cost, and safety.
• Monitor suppliers' supply chain, manufacturing, and human capital with respect to overall program objectives.
• Administer a change management program to ensure project delivery according to commercial agreements, focusing on cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Develop alternative sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure continuity of supply.
Typical task breakdown and rhythm:
50% of the time will be spent in meetings with team members and suppliers, and 50% will be focused on heads-down work.
Interaction with team/Day to Day:
The candidate will interact with suppliers, project managers, and engineering teams on a daily basis.

This is a contract position with a duration of 11 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington and some days remote.
Work Environment
The team is part of the Supply Chain and supports automation for delivery stations. The environment is fast-paced, ambiguous, and collaborative. The team consists of 10-12 people focused on automation and requires support for managing air piping contractors and compressor vendors. The role involves vetting codes, reviewing and comparing quotes, negotiating, and some program management
