Amazon Business Process Optimization Specialist, Sales Process and Tools in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Sales Process and Tools team is seeking an experienced Process Design Program Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of business operational procedures for the AWS sales team across the globe. This role will work closely with sales leadership, operations teams, internal Salesforce (CRM) team and other stakeholders to analyze current seller workflow, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, leveraging project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Utilize Excel and SQL to analyze sales data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Create process maps, documentation, and training materials for new/updated processes

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact

  • Manage multiple process design projects simultaneously and report on progress to leadership

The Sales Process and Tools is part of the Worldwide Field Enablement organization, focusing on building a unified learning and enablement experience. Our team focus on bringing traditional learning experience into regular practice in the flow of a seller's job.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • PMP certificate

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards

  • Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma for creating visual process maps and documentation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
