The Metaverse Business Group is looking for an experienced leader who will be responsible for harmonizing and driving execution across the Business Group. This leader is responsible for influencing our long-range business and product plans, establishing and operating an integrated business rhythm that aligns teams and supports focused execution, and leading project-based work related to emerging business models, operating gaps, and strategic opportunities. This high visibility role will be accountable for ensuring our investments have strong business cases and facilitating cross-functional leadership decisions across the breadth of our Metaverse business.

Required Skills:

Business Planning Lead, Metaverse Business Group Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders supporting the success of the Metaverse business (Product Marketing, Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Policy, Legal, Content, Comms, Analytics, Finance) to ensure tight alignment of strategy and execution, including surfacing duplication of efforts, misalignments, synergistic opportunities, etc

  2. Build strategic capabilities (e.g., data-driven processes, frameworks, analytical tools, etc.) to identify and prioritize business development opportunities and drive the Metaverse mission forward

  3. Identify and resolve critical program risks, particularly with an eye toward external factors like industry trends and partners

  4. Represent business functions in planning meetings to identify and scope business requirements in early stages of product definition and facilitate data driven decisions

  5. Lead work across teams to inform annual planning, investment strategy, prioritization, and other ongoing business priorities

  6. High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create structure and execution plans where there were none while working in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, management consulting, product management, portfolio operations, or a technical field

  2. 10+ years of business experience, including experience managing cross-functional and global teams in the technology, internet, or media industries

  3. Experience working directly with management as well as people at all levels, including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of a company

  4. Demonstrated leadership in driving senior-level cross-functional product planning and business reviews

  5. Proven track record of delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional projects and leading multiple complex projects simultaneously

  6. Experience synthesizing multiple information sources into a framework and advising executive leaders

Public Compensation:

$189,000/year to $258,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
