The Harborview Medical Center International Medicine, Pediatric, Memory Brain & Wellness, and Women’s Clinics have an outstanding opportunity for a Business Operations Supervisor. WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 100% FTE

  • Days DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Women’s Clinic at Harborview provides family planning, infertility diagnosis and treatment, and pregnancy and gynecological care to women of all ages.

    Harborview's International Medicine Clinic specializes in acutely medically and socially complex non-English speaking refugee and immigrant populations. Additionally, it hosts two special clinics with one treating torture survivors (Northwest Health and Human Rights Clinic) and one providing critical health screening for recently arrived refugees (Refugee Health Promotion Clinic).

    The Pediatric Clinic at Harborview offers a wide range of services including primary care, well-child visits and developmental screenings, breastfeeding support, confidential teen services, and mental health services. Same-day appointments are available for sick kids, and an after-hours nurse phone line is available when you need immediate care assistance. Many of our services are available via telehealth (video visits) to save you time and reduce the need to bring your child into the clinic

    The Harborview Memory and Brain Wellness Center (MBWC) is an inter-disciplinary clinic that specializes in evaluation and treatment of memory disorders in patients who are 40 y.o. and older. The MBWC is part of a larger center that envisions a world in which people live well with memory loss and can rely upon the best care, within a community of support. The mission of the Memory and Brain Wellness Center is to promote the well-being of persons living with memory loss and their families, by providing exceptional care, advancing scientific understanding, and building dementia friendly communities.   • Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise Patient Care Coordinators (PCC), Patient Service Representatives (PSS), and other assigned staff

  • Develop and implement policies/procedures around the patient’s entry into and through the clinic and Harborview Medical Center

  • Perform specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Clinic Practice Manager and Clinic Medical Directors

  • Provide leadership for clinic and divisional activities that promote delivery of quality care and service, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others

  • Serve as a role model and provide guidance to other staff including review and evaluation of performance

  • Leadership and Professionalism, Human Resources Management, Business Operations, Financial Management, Customer Service, and Teamwork REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, public relations, or a medical related field

  • At least two years of experience in a management or supervisory roleOR
