However, there are always a few people that try to take unfair advantage of a good thing.Are you interested in taking your skills and career to the next level, while having fun and fighting fraud in the cloud?Would you like to be the driving force for developing the insights and strategy for our global AWS Fraud Prevention Team?As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) in the AWS Fraud Prevention Team, you will work alongside with top notch Business Analysts, BIEs and Data Engineers who work closely with the latest analytical databases (Redshift), reporting tools (Tableau/QuickSight) and other AWS services (Spectrum/Athena, Glue, S3). You'll help the stakeholder teams comprised of data scientists, developers, fraud investigators and program managers to automate and optimize their processes. You'll design and develop the end to end architecture for solving complex business problems and enabling data driven decisions via metrics.Responsibilities Include:* Gathering business and functional requirements and translating them into robust and scalable solutions that work well within the overall data analytics architecture.* Analyzing large amounts of data using SQL/statistical techniques and building metrics to help business teams to make data driven decisions. Identifying business process improvements using data and optimizing them via automation.* Designing, developing, implementing, testing, and documenting large-scale, high-volume, high-performance ETL/data structures for business intelligence.* Implementing data structures using best practices in data modeling to provide self-service reporting and analytics with a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.* Evaluating and making decisions around dataset implementations/BI tools, driving best practices with peer analytics professionals.Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance.
