Key job responsibilities

You will be part of a small team of Business Intelligence Engineers that will deliver on the data visualization vision for Amazon Treasury.

• Deliver, iteratively, new dashboard and analytics products for treasury customers via standard 2-week sprint cycles.

• Maintain existing set of dashboards inclusive of tier1 executive cash reports, global liquidity Machine Learning (ML) based forecast, and those to support liquidity optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify financial trends and deliver data driven strategies.

• Create compelling dashboards and reports using advanced data visualization tools to inform executive decisions.

About the team

Treasury Insights, Planning and Analytics team drives Day1 decision making across Treasury by leveraging innovation, strategic insights, and cutting-edge technologies, enhancing financial efficiency and delivering exceptional value to stakeholders. We work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated, and inspected regularly in a world class manner.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
