A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE BUSINESS BANKING SALES MANAGER

As the Business Banking Sales Manager, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted. You'll be at the forefront of identifying and seizing valuable business opportunities, not only nurturing existing client relationships but also establishing new ones to meet production goals.

The Business Banking Sales Manager will guide a team of Business Banking Officers and Associate Business Officers in their efforts to serve our commercial credit union members.

Effective management of your day will include working collaboratively with the Senior Business Operations Manager to serve our members and streamline processes. You will also frequently work with the Vice President of Business Services on product development and pricing.

Overall, your day will often include:

  • Overseeing your team's day-to-day work
  • Coaching team members regarding performance improvement ensuring that opportunities are available for them to develop and maintain their skills
  • Structuring and presenting loan requests
  • Negotiating terms and account structures with members based on risk considerations and internal pricing parameters
  • Working with your team to build a portfolio of prospective clients and developing an extensive referral network
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of all commercial products including loans, cash management, and deposits to facilitate cross-selling and enhance the member experience
  • Participating in networking functions, events and community organizations
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and members

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BUSINESS BANKING SALES MANAGER

  • 3+ of successful performance in Business Banking Sales within a financial organization.
  • 2+ years in a managerial role, with a passion for leading sales teams.
  • Prior product or project management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Episys/Symitar core system is strongly desired.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Competitive base salary of* $128,083 - $179,316 annually depending on experience. *This range reflects the entire salary range for this position.

Ability to earn additional compensation through our profit-sharing bonus program. This position qualifies for the employee tier of the program with annual payouts totaling 0-8% of base salary when company performance is sufficient for payout.
