Description

We are in search of a Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Seattle, Washington. This role is a crucial part of our operations, as you will be handling a wide range of responsibilities, including processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Manage accounts and invoices in third-party e-billing systems, coordinating with attorneys regarding invoice rejections, budget requirements, status updates, accruals, and other requested information

• Execute complex bills in a timely and efficient manner, including those with multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, and alternative fee arrangements

• Update billing rates and arrangements as required, and propose new billing formats or templates as needed

• Respond to billing inquiries and issues, providing solutions where possible

• Create billing schedules and conduct other billing analyses as necessary

• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times

• Adhere to firm billing policies and procedures

• Assist with special projects as requested

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Expertise in Computerized Billing is necessary.

• Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM is essential.

• Knowledge of Epic Software is required.

• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively is required.
