If yes, then we want to talk with you.The Brand Excellence team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead research projects to protect the Customer experience in the Amazon store. You will dive deep into ambiguous and complex issues, building tools to ensure high-quality business decisions at scale. You will deliver results based on analyzing, evaluating and surfacing opportunities with your cross-disciplined team to senior leadership globally.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both Retail and Selling Partner businesses, and the ability to translate business requirements into analysis, collect and analyze data, and make recommendations back to the business. The candidate will also continuously learn new systems, tools, and industry best practices to help design new studies and build new tools that help our team automate, and accelerate protecting the customer experience.* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Management or related field* Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.* 5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational/business planning or advanced degree* Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools.* Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders* Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
