Position Overview

We are seeking an organized team player for our Employee Benefits Helpline, from mid-October through the end of November with some flexibility. This individual will engage with customers via phone and email, listen carefully, and provide information, resources, and follow-up regarding eligibility, enrollment, and claims. We need someone who is reliable, positive, well-organized, and can work well both independently and with our supportive and interactive team. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, detail-oriented, and tech savvy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer calls on our Benefits Helpline, identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions

  • Follow up on questions via phone and email

  • Document all communications

  • Run reports to determine benefits eligibility, and use resources to research discrepancies

  • Use MS Excel to track, update, and reconcile information

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required

    Qualifications

  • One year or more call center experience managing inbound calls strongly preferred

  • Experience with online enrollment, SAP, or HRIS

  • Highly self-motivated with a great deal of personal initiative and drive

  • Proven time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple interruptions

  • Very organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to speak directly to clients in a manner that inspires confidence

  • Experience collaborating within a team

  • Exercise confidentiality and discretion; high level of integrity

  • Service oriented, very interactive
