We tell AWS's most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.As a head of industry marketing for the games industry, you will have the opportunity to define and drive the marketing strategy for solutions and services that help game development companies accelerate cloud transformation. You will work with key stakeholders across product marketing, GTM, sales, and services to shape the messaging and marketing of AWS solutions and services for the games industry. You will create compelling content to help customers understand service use cases and value propositions, and build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will get to work in a rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and how they can be used to create business outcomes in the games vertical, the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and experience building and improving scalable mechanisms for managing work. A proven track record of excelling in a data-driven marketing organization and industry subject-matter expertise are must-haves.This role is open to any Virtual - US location.Key job responsibilities* Own the creation of high-impact, industry-specific messaging and thought-leadership content showcasing the value and differentiation of AWS service and solutions for games.* Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product marketing, digital marketing, sales, business development, public relations, analyst relations, partner marketing, and evangelists to shape the games industry vision and achieve our joint business goals* Craft and execute campaigns and leverage organic channels to reach our customers and help grow their understanding and usage of AWS services* Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences* Develop, and support keynotes at AWS and industry conferences and trade-shows, positioning AWS as the leading cloud provider for the industry* Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, adoption campaigns, marketing distribution channels, and campaign schedule* Work at both the strategic and tactical level of champion bold and creative ideas* Ability to travel both domestic and international to meet with customers and internal stakeholdersAbout the teamInclusive Team CultureHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.
