Passion for our mission and vision is required!This position reports to the Group Manager of the Requirements Group inside of the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) business unit. ADP is responsible for all of Blue Origin's orbital and planetary flight systems, services, and products, and a wide range of concepts, proposals, and development projects.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End ownership of Avionics integration of Blue's Lunar LanderUnderstand and decompose system level requirements to facilitate avionics integrationApply complete understanding on a wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts, and tools in Systems Engineering such as CONOPs development, requirements analysis, and interface definitionHave frequent inter-organizational and customer interactions on difficult technical issues (e.g. to define Avionics interfaces in collaboration with HW/SW teams)Work independently to determine and develop approaches to solutionsContribute to the mentoring and training of other personnelQualificationsPassion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similarExperience working on rapid development teamsGeneral knowledge of space systems design and requirements (e.g. thermal, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, acoustics, electrical grounding/bonding)General knowledge of hardware and software design and integrationGeneral knowledge of HIL/SIL integration and test operationAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Participate, as needed, in technical and programmatic customer interactions that require your expertiseWork inter-dependently with other project members to drive progress at the program levelDesiredM.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area6+ years of experience in avionics integration experience or a relevant and fungible experience4+ years of HIL/SIL experience on spaceborne avionics4+ years of avionics design experienceExposure or experience in flight test integrationExperience with requirements development/management tools such as DOORS Next GenExperience with systems engineering modeling tools, such as Rhapsody or Cameo.General knowledge of overall systems engineering proce
