Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Associate Scientist Position Type: Contract Duration- 12 Months Location- Seattle, WA As an Associate Scientist, you will: * Execution of routine analytical testing including qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, molecular biology, and cell-based assays to test in-process vector samples. * Execution of multiplexed cell-based assays (killing assays, mixed lymphocyte reactions, proliferation assays, etc.). * Data analysis and reporting with an emphasis on fast and high-quality data turnaround. * Partner with Method Development groups to support assay development, qualification, and transfer. * Develop processes and methods to improve lab execution and data analysis efficiency. * Timely and thorough documentation and completion of electronic laboratory notebooks. * Author reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results. * Oversee inventory, quality control, qualification, and distribution of critical reagents used in routine analytical testing. * Track reagent usage, coordinate with internal customers, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will have: * BS in a scientific discipline with 3+ years (1+ years with MS) of relevant industrial cell-based assay experience. * Good knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and data analysis * Demonstrated experience with qPCR, ddPCR and Vector work. * Proficiency utilizing MS Office products. * Working knowledge of statistical software (R, JMP, Minitab) is preferred. * Flexibility to work rotating offset shifts (early morning, evening and/or weekend shifts).
