General Description

The role of the Relationship Management Associate is to strengthen and grow our existing relationships with institutional clients by supporting the efforts of our external facing directors, and oftentimes interfacing with the clients themselves. This role works with nearly every team across the firm in order to fulfill our clients’ needs and provide them with a seamless experience. As such, strong time management and communications skills are a must. This role works with various data systems (both proprietary and commercial) in order to log, track, visualize, and explain trends across our client base as well as manage workflows necessary for sustaining our business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Field the day-to-day requests from clients by liaising with both internal and external teams. These include but are not limited to: billing, reporting, portfolio management, trading, and operations.
  • Manage and improve internal processes both for the Institutional Distribution team and teams we partner with in order to reduce frictions and improve data integrity.
  • Partner with marketing on outreach initiatives in order to expand existing relationships and strengthen the Parametric image in the marketplace.
  • Assemble and deliver materials necessary for external meetings with clients.
  • Continuously cultivate knowledge on products, industry trends, and client issues to ultimately become a better resource for the institutional distribution team.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the Relationship Management Coordinator and work within the Institutional Distribution team to improve cross-functional processes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with preference for progress towards MBA and/or CFA
  • 2-5 years of related asset management experience
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of an organization and build trusted relationships with colleagues in other locations
  • Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment; results-oriented with a strong bias to action
  • A collaborative approach, yet enough tenacity to share opinions and offer creative solutions
  • Preference for existing knowledge of internal systems (IMS, Argos, etc.) and Salesforce or candidate who has demonstrated ability to be tech-savvy
