Analyzing all phases of the architectural project, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction contract administration; Formulating architectural project design philosophy and adhering strictly to the philosophy; Preparing the project work plan in conjunction with senior team leaders, including the timing and format of drawings, mockups, schedules, data summaries and specifications or descriptions; Preparing design and technical drawings and solutions to complex architectural problems using Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; Reviewing shop drawings and preparing supplemental architectural instructions; Responding to contractors' requests for information; Analyzing complex building materials and systems, details and construction techniques, primary structural and MEPFP and their operation and secondary building systems; Researching and promoting opportunities for new or innovative system applications; Conducting periodic on-site observations of construction work to monitor compliance with architectural plans; and mentoring and training junior staff in the preparation of architectural drawings, studies, models and other project tasks. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Architecture and six months' experience in position or six months' experience in Architecture field; and experience with Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite. Must be licensed Architect in Washington.
