We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.* MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field or equivalent work experience.* 3+ years professional experience in conducting experiments, building and deploying machine learned solutions.* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, high-performance computing and GPU programming.* Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, complexity analysis, problem solving and diagnosis.* Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++ or C#.* PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics or a related quantitative field* 6+ years of research experience in clustering, time series forecasting, predictive analysis or anomaly detection.* Proven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the art* Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals* Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role* Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
