Description POSITION SUMMARY: Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) is seeking an experienced Manager, Application Development to lead our team of developers in building and maintaining cloud-based applications, including those built on M365 technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on coding experience, a strong understanding of cloud architecture and development and will be well-versed in test automation, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking candidates who can work in Pacific Time Zone (PST) RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based applications. Lead code reviews, ensuring all applications are well documented. Write, test, and maintain high-quality code. You are expected to code 50% of the time while managing the team the remaining 50%. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 3. Develop and implement best practices and standards for cloud services utilization, including M365 technologies. 4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. 5. Work with a team of testers to Implement and maintain test automation frameworks. 6. Manage the transition from Azure DevOps to GitHub repos, ensuring continuity of CI/CD process. 7. Work with a Scrum Master to support our Agile methodologies. 8. Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related experience. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience writing code for cloud-based applications, including M365. The ideal candidate must have technical competency writing C#, JavaScript, SPFx/typescript, PowerShell, t-SQL. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of Power Platform. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of test automation, DevOps, and Agile methodologies. Must have excellent leadership and team management skills. Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. LOCATION: This is a remote position. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this role is $96,000 to $194,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. BENEFITS: At Milliman, we focus on creating an environment that recognizes - and meets - the personal and professional needs of the individual and their family.
