Job Description:

Position Summary

Bank of America is currently seeking an Application Compliance/Risk Officer to work as a member of the AuthHub Compliance Team supporting oversight and management of compliance deliverables for the AuthHub development organization's application portfolio. Candidates must have prior risk/governance related experience as well as excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills, high attention to detail and a quick study with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, date driven and dynamic work environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•-To meet risk based deliverable requirements and timelines, work closely with development Subject Matter Experts, Production Support teams, Technology Infrastructure teams, Governance and Line of Business

•-Maintain up to date knowledge of changing compliance requirements, policies and standards

•-Manage/drive timely completion of application retirement and decommission, Not Permitted Technology tracking and remediation updates as well as oversight of software patches in production and lower environments

•-Research and certify server vulnerability changes

•-Conduct periodic access reviews and review reports to ensure that access requirements are met

•-Coordinate Technical Recovery Plan updates and complete required approvals and compliance processes

•-Conduct annual password reviews

•-Coordinate multiple types of security and program specific assessments

•-Coordinate and schedule annual security ethical hack assessments

•-Schedule and conduct meetings, prepare agendas and materials and follow-up on next steps

•-Assist the Compliance, App Dev and project teams with regulatory examinations, audits and research

•-Ensure reusable, effective, and uniform compliance artifacts and deliverables

•-Prepare Disaster Recovery exercise scripts, support testing and complete required compliance documentation

•-Participate in streamlining processes and procedures for compliance deliverables

•-Educate the application teams on compliance routines, online tools and best practices as needed

•-Contribute to ongoing automation/innovation efforts for compliance deliverables

•-Manage workload independently and meet deadlines

Required Skills

•-3+ years working as a risk/compliance officer or in a like or related "risk mindset" role

•-Capable of assuming a lead/independent role for assigned activities

•-Strong work ethic, self-motivated and team oriented

•-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with internal and external partners including senior leaders

•-Strong written and reviewing skills, detail oriented

•-Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote etc…)

•-Highly organized and capable of regularly managing and delivering on multiple deliverables in parallel

Desired Skills

•-Previous Banking Industry web application compliance/risk governance experience

•-Prior experience in Web, eCommerce or Financial Services

•-Technical background including but not limited to Java, SQL, Oracle and Cassandra
