Overview

Our accounts payable team is growing here at REI! We are hiring for an accounts payable analyst role that supports REI’s end-to-end accounts payable functions, driving the Co-op to on time payments for daily invoicing. This position will involve corresponding with vendors and internal partners to resolve complex inquiries and discrepancies, and reviewing new business requirements to ensure accounts payable alignment. In addition, this role will involve directing process improvement efforts and participating in and occasionally leading accounts payable projects. We are looking for a person that is eager to learn, adaptable to changing priorities in the accounts payable space, with solid communication skills (both written and oral). This position will be a subject matter expert for the accounts payable space and will utilize our S/4HANA ERP system alongside Ariba Buying and Invoicing. A strong candidate for this position will be someone who leads by example and provides a problem-solving mindset, helping drive the team to success. This role will involve handling more complex challenges and we are looking for someone with experience in such work. It will also involve a majority of self-directed work, but we rely on each other to collaborate and problem solve as a group daily.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience using financial systems, preferably SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Requires limited monitoring and direction to balance priorities and achieve deadlines.

• Actively participate in process improvement by identifying opportunities, proposing solutions and driving change.

• Understanding of accounts payable, procurement, and general finance/business best practices and interdependencies.

Pay Range

$57,300 - $94,850 per year
