Responsibilities

We have a full-time opportunity for an Anesthesiologist at our Virginia Mason Medical Center location in downtown Seattle to join our collaborative care team.

Position Details:

  • Engage with a team of Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Resident Physicians, Fellows in Acute Regional and Pain Medicine, and certified Anesthesia Technologists to deliver quality anesthesia services at both inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative and procedural services leadership.

  • General case mix including but not limited to a diverse set of service lines: plastics, ENT, orthopedics, sports medicine, breast oncologic, gynecologic, bariatric, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, transplant (renal), ophthalmologic, neurosurgical, spine, vascular, thoracic, interventional pulmonary, therapeutic endoscopy, and other non-OR anesthesia cases.

  • Strong interpersonal administrative relationships throughout the organization.

  • Opportunity for educational involvement with anesthesiology residents and fellows across three different ACGME-accredited programs at VMMC.

  • Opportunity to attend national conferences and engage in our academic mission.

  • Participate in work related to the Virginia Mason Production System.

Qualifications

  • BC/BE by the ABA, American Board of Anesthesiolgoy

  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington

  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

$177.88 - $206.73/hour
