Would you like to join us in building the next generation of machine learning platform powering Apple's intelligent experiences across: hardware, software and service products? We are looking for senior full stack software engineer who’s passionate about machine learning tooling! Ideal, you need to be proficient in full stack development and skills in: web, mobile or desktop app development. You should have a passion in UX and a strong record of building and shipping applications. You will work closely with an extraordinary ML infra and platform team to build tooling and enable faster integration for bringing ML ideas into Apple products.

Description

Our team is a part of a group within Apple’s ML platform organization, that enables ML teams to support ML lifecycle project, such as: data engineering, labeling, training, online and offline evaluation, experimentation and more. Within our group, you will closely collaborate with: design, backend infrastructure, ML engineering and project management teams to brainstorm, prototype and bring features into production. Our team takes full ownership of both web frontend and backend projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge in frontend, backend and cloud technologies like: TypeScript, React, etc.; Golang, GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Kafka etc; AWS, GCP, Azure, K8s etc

  • You have a strong and continued record of delivering high impact projects through partnership across organization boundaries with: product, design and infrastructure teams

  • You have a minimum of 5 years developing and maintaining rich web applications for data intensive systems

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, or in a related field

  • Good sense of design and passion for UX and developer experience

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about technical and architectural problems and work with key partners to iteratively solve the problems

  • Experience in machine learning is a plus but not required

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
