UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a per-diem ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) in the CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION (CATH) LAB. WORK SCHEDULE: • Priority for the per diem position is assistance with Standby/On-Call coverage. • Some single shifts on days (7:00am-5:30pm) may be available on a limited basis.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: • Case types include all complex coronary (PCI, CTO, Brachy), structural heart (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid clip, LAAO, ASD/PFO/VSD, etc.), heart failure/transplant (Biopsies, RHC, Impella, Tandem, ECMO, IABP) and adult-congenital procedures. • Work as part of a dynamic, comprehensive care team.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases. • Effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.

REQUIREMENTS: • Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS)

• OR

Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program AND Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
