Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist II Location: Seattle, WA Job Type: Regular Full-Time What's the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking an accounting professional to assist the Assistant Controller in managing the Company's incoming cash cycle process. The Accounts Receivable Specialist II will be collaborating with various internal and external clients to ensure timely and accurate reporting of deposit activity to enable the organization to properly understand it's cash flow. This role is an essential part of the success of Anchor QEA as it provides visibility to the cash cycle to Senior Management and the C-Suite to make decisions. Responsibilities: This role is responsible for the following under the supervision of the Assistant Controller: Process daily deposit activity (ACHs, wires, checks) in collaboration with the rest of the Accounts Receivable team, including depositing checks via the bank platform, posting deposits against client receivables and researching unapplied deposits. Perform daily reconciliation process ensuring all deposits are posted and all checks are deposited. Assist the Assistant Controller in ensuring data quality of all related reports, including timely posting of deposit activity and punctual responses in regards to questions from internal and external customers. Assist the Assistant Controller in research and collection activities with Project Managers, Project Accountants and Clients (as needed). Assist the Assistant Controller with cash forecasting activities. Assist the General Ledger Accounting team with research deposit activity identified during the Bank Reconciliation process. Assist the Assistant Controller and Controller in month-end and year-end activities (example: audits) as needed. Assist the Assistant Controller and Controller in other activities as required. What Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have the following: At least a two year Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance At least two years of experience within the incoming cash cycle (accounts receivables, treasury/banking) The ideal candidate will be willing to learn the job role, have a positive attitude, be collaborative with multiple people and personalities, and be flexible to take on new challenges as they arise. This candidate would not be comfortable with the status quo and be willing to continually improve processes in collaboration with the rest of the Accounting and Finance team.
