Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the non-profit industry, based in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, handling a variety of accounting functions, account coding, and using accounting software systems such as Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining precise customer credit records

• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions when required

• Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring all inquiries are responded to in a timely manner

• Overseeing manual invoicing processes through D365

• Picking up mailed invoices and ensuring they reach the appropriate parties

• Communicating with managers for invoice approval, explaining the process when necessary

• Implementing GL coding for invoices, following established SOPs. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary, as the candidate will be required to understand and manage complex coding systems.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential, as the job involves handling and managing financial transactions digitally.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required, as the position involves streamlining and integrating various business processes.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial, as the job demands a comprehensive knowledge of financial management and operations.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must, as the role is centered around managing and processing invoices and payments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred, as the candidate will be using this software for various accounting and financial tasks.
