The person in this position will be processing large volume of payments from domestic and international customers. Working closely with the team to research and resolve exception payments. Communicate with internal and external customers to verify payment details. Help with monthly close process.

This job contributes to Starbucks success by performing a variety of accounting duties. Reconciles bank and posts balances to general ledger, processes payments and compiles segments of monthly closings. Area of responsibility accounts receivable, cash application. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

As an accounting specialist II, you will…

  • Process Large volume payments received from the bank.

  • Review accounts, unapplied and unidentified reports.

  • Finding root cause issues to help improve application success.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook

  • Ability to use enterprise accounting systems
