Description

We are in search of an Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As an Accountant, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data through month-end and year-end close processes

• Conducting analysis and preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections

• Recording financial transactions accurately by preparing and posting journal entries

• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Handling payroll and preparing payroll taxes

• Managing capital assets and maintaining accurate and organized financial records

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Staying updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

The salary range for this position is $64,000 to $75,000 + discretionary bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Bank Reconciliations.

• Ability to maintain and handle General Ledger.

• Experience with Journal Entries.

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Proven ability to Analyze Financial Statements.

• Experience in preparing Financial Statements.

• Knowledge of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.

• Experience in Year End Closings.

• Ability to manage Payroll and Payroll Taxes.

• Familiarity with Capital Assets management.

• Must be able to maintain accurate and organized Financial Records.
