The Wealth Management Diversity Leadership Experience and Access Program (LEAP) is a track of our traditional Wealth Management Intern Program offering diverse candidates exposure and access to the broader strategic leadership of our Wealth Management organization. The LEAP internship consists of a structured rotation of hands-on experience and insight into the various departments of the D. A. Davidson Wealth Management Division. This includes Finance, Research, Wealth Planning, Managed Solutions, Practice Management, and Trust. Additionally, the program provides a high-level overview and introduction of the leadership and functions of D. A. Davidson Asset Management, Investment Banking and Fixed Income Capital Markets divisions

Required Experience:

The purpose of the Program is to create an opportunity for a high-performing College student to gain insight into the broader business of Wealth Management outside of and including the Financial Advisor role. The LEAP Intern will gain knowledge of our Wealth Management business, processes, and strategic priorities and "learn by doing."

This nine-week, full-time, paid internship program serves as a launch pad for diverse future leaders in the Financial Services Industry looking to both acquire knowledge and provide insight into the many facets of the business. This program also covers the costs of studying and sitting for the FINRA SIE exam.

The potential base pay for this role is $21.00 per hour. The compensation offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis considering a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the skills, relevant work experience, and geographic location of each specific candidate.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate and highly qualified undergraduates preferred

  • Strong academic performance and professional drive

  • Proven analytical leadership communication teamwork and service skills

  • Authorization to work in the US

  • Satisfactory results of background reference and credit checks

  • Ability to commit to the duration of the program

Location: Seattle, WA - Modest housing allowance provided if current residence is more than 75 miles away.
