Warehouse Associate - SEATAC Airport - Night Shift

Pay: $23/hour

Job Description

Warehouse Associates are responsible for breaking down express freight, rebuilding it into organized stacks on a pallet, and moving these materials around the warehouse. The role involves working at the shipping and receiving station for Amazon Prime Air flights, handling mostly light packages for household consumers. Tasks include climbing into large metal Unit Load Devices (ULDs) to remove packages, using hand scanners, and stacking boxes according to specific procedures. Associates will unload ULDs by releasing straps, unloading the assorted boxes, and using a pallet jack or assisting with a forklift to move materials across the warehouse to the loading dock area.

This is a fully on-site position in SeaTac, Washington.

Work Environment

Air cargo warehouse at Seatac Airport. Parking is onsite, and all work is done inside. However, it can be cold and wet inside when the loading doors are open. Gloves are important for handling thick straps on ULDs. Shifts available are 2100 - 0530, 2245 - 0630, 2330 - 1000, and 0130 - 1000, with a high likelihood of being assigned to the 0130 - 1000 shift. Steel-toed boots are required.
