Seattle Chief Pilot for Corporate Flight Department operating three Falcon 50 EX under FAA Part 91.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
This position reports to the Director of Aviation.
Supervisory responsibility for 6 SeaTac based Captains.
Remaining informed of the latest developments with the business aviation community, including the FARs, and other Federal, state, local and foreign regulations affecting operations.
Ensure that revisions and amendments to the standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are current.
Instruct/train flight crews in the use of the Company standard operating procedures (SOP) manual.
Supervise Initial and Recurrent flight crew training. Manage the business relationship with our training provider.
Prepare and distribute periodic reports and statistics as required.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and monitor the current budget implementation.
Be accessible to all department employees.
Complete annual Departmental and Corporate training.
Work a nonstandard schedule.
Possible international travel.
Other aviation management duties as assigned (for example participate in company hangar and facility inspections).
Working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL).
Current First Class medical certificate.
Multi-engine land and appropriate Type rating.
Current Pilot in Command (PIC) proficiency endorsements (FAR 61.58).
Minimum 5000 hours total flight time.
1000 hours Turbine powered multi-engine.
Speak and understand radiotelephony communications as per ICAO Annex 1.
Ability to pass TSA and Port of Seattle background screening for ID badge and ramp driving privileges.
Valid passport and driver’s license.
Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, adaptable, excellent follow-through and responsiveness.
Excellent Communication skills.
Self-starter, with a team-oriented nature.
Environmental awareness and stewardship.
Current Dassault Falcon 50EX Type rating.
Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk assessment.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Proficiency with business software including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
